1. Open a generated clip in Projects.
  2. Open its review controls and choose Auto Edit Magic.
  3. Turn on Remove Silences.
  4. Choose the minimum silence duration. Shorter pauses remain untouched.
  5. Wait for source-level audio analysis when it runs for the first time, then preview and save the clip.

ContentFries analyzes the source once and reuses the cached silence map. It applies only the detected ranges that overlap the selected clip. Turn the toggle off to restore the silence cuts before saving.

For custom clips, open Add Custom Clips. The audio timeline shows the waveform, detected silence, chapter markers, current playhead, and temporary clip ranges. Click to seek or drag across the waveform to create a transcript-aligned clip.

Always preview tight cuts. Natural speech often needs short pauses for rhythm even when they look quiet on the waveform.
